The GDPR, The GDPR, General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data came into force in May 2018.

LSI strengthens its compliance with the GDPR on a daily basis and carefully treats the fundamental principles including the processing of personal data, the purpose of the processing and the physical and logical security of the data.

Our GDPR compliance objectives are part of a positive dynamic to sustain and grow the company:

LSI works to protect data and relies on the personal data processing register and its GDPR policy:
– Personal data collection policy: explicit consent mechanism and regular control of the method of collecting information
– Policy on the use of personal data: enhanced access control to personal and confidential information and awareness of the use of data
– Personal data retention and deletion policy: regular control of data retention and deletion of the latter if the deadline is exceeded
– Personal data breach policy: following a strict procedure with the objective of having the capacity to ensure continuous protection and security of personal data
– Personal data risk assessment policy: regulatory watch and daily strengthening of procedures related to GDPR compliance
– Subcontractor management policy: selection of subcontractors respecting the obligations of the GDPR in terms of security, data confidentiality

Our DPO (Data Protection Officer)’s role is to maintain a level that meets the expectations of the regulations on the protection of personal data and to be the main point of contact with the supervisory authority. He can also process requests relating to personal or private data or the exercise of rights.
